The paper is initially white. It means that it possesses ability to mirror all spectrums of colors of light which on it gets. Having painted a paper with certain color we can make so that all colors of an incident light will be swallowed by dye except one – dark blue. And then the paper to us will seem painted in dark blue color. And so on.

Accordingly, there are combinations of colors, mixing which we can swallow completely all colors mirrored by a paper, and make its black. The combination “fuchsine-cyanogens-yellow” (CMY) – cyan/magenta/yellow has been by practical consideration output.

In an ideal, mixing these colors, we should receive black color. However in practice so it is impossible because of technical qualities of dye. At the best that we can receive, is a dark-brown color which only bears a faint resemblance to the black. Moreover it would be rather unreasonable to use all three expensive colors only to receive elementary black color. Therefore in those places where it is necessary black, instead of a combination of three colors usual cheaper black dye is put. And consequently to combination CMY K (black character – designating black color is usually added.

White color in the circuit is absent, as it we and so we have are a color of a paper. In those places where white color is necessary, color simply is not put. Absence of color in circuit CMYK means corresponds to white color.
